Being a mental health counselor has always interested me. The idea of being able to help people with mental health issues is why, being able to talk with people to see how they feel and how they think interests me. I’ve always had an interest when it comes to talking to people and giving them advice. I want to be able to have a career that I truly enjoy doing and have an interest in doing.

Having a job as a licensed mental health counselor does come with requirements. You’ll need a bachelor’s and master of mental health counseling degree. A GRE is not required but passing the licensing exams is. You will need to find a need to apply for licensure. A four-year undergraduate degree is a requirement, such as a bachelor’s, usually in counseling,
