This could be the reason that some of them end up in the system and this can hurt them more mentally. They react on instinct and then they hurt other people and this leads to the displacement. The lack of teachings on how to deal with stressful situations is part of the reason that there are so many children in the system. This also leads to the children acting bad in the new homes that they are placed in, and further movement because, they are still not being taught. When the kids fight to relieve their stress, that is considered maladaptive. When they choose to go for a run, or to work on a hobby it is considered adaptive. They have been the victim so many times and with that, they have been silenced and forgotten. People seem to think that all foster homes or other alternative housing is the best thing for the children. They don't seem to notice that the child has only been in the new home for a week and they are already being moved to another home, for another week, while the courts throw the child like it is only an object that will not be affected by the new homes. With this still being the case for some children, their mental health drops with each home. A piece of that child is forever gone, lost with the move like that one toy dog that is lost in between the states lines. Why would someone want to rip a tree up from where it belongs and place it in a fence on the street?
