At first I considered Mars with the firey temperment. Then looking at others I considered the associations and Believe Mercury is an planet which I would consider as my choice for a favorite.
Even as a child he caught my attention. The wings on his heels to help him speed his travels.
Mercury rules communication and travel. He was the messenger of the gods and a god of trade and profit. The element of air, the colors red and orange, Wednesday and the gemstone Opal, (one of my favorites) the moss agate and Aventurine. Herbs associated with Mercury are; Almond, Anise, Clover, Dandelion, Dill, Hyssop, Lavender, Lemongrass, Lilac, Mace, Peppermint, Rosemary,and Vervain.
Mercury rules Virgo and Gemini. It supervises our intellectual capabilities.
I am a thinker I try to think things before I act on them, so Mercury being in charge of the mind is perfect for this aspect. I love to travel and since mercury is in charge of travel this is also a great connection. There are so many of the associated herbs I already use it is really amazing.
I am sure I will use Mercury in my work many, many times
