My views are formed from the different experiences I’ve encountered during my time on this earth. My peers have given me a greater insight as to the many diverse hardships that happen in the world. My friends have shown me things, like the struggles of the working poor, the challenges of being African American in the US, and the adversity many women face today. All these insights made me realize this world is not as black-and-white or right-and-wrong as I had once truly believed. Moralistic government is one of the roots of liberal belief, and one belief that I’ve always kept in my heart. I do not believe my political ideology has changed much over the years.
