Muhammad: My religion, Islam, follows the five pillars of faith, they are a declaration of prayer, faith, almsgiving, fasting, and pilgrimage. Following these five pillars, I have must give alms to those in need, fast during the holy month of Ramadan, and journey to Mecca at least once in my lifetime. It is also believed that I, Muhammad, am a prophet of God and the founder of Islam. Like other monotheistic religions, I believe in only one god and a set of rules that guide my daily life. Another belief is that I, Jesus Christ, rose from the dead in the resurrection, nonetheless, this only believed by Christians. Furthermore, the Sabbath and an afterlife are also characteristics of the Christian religious belief. The Sabbath is a weekly holy day, on this day we worship with other followers and rest. The Sabbath is commemorated on Sunday. Other religions, like Judaism, also believe in the Sabbath, however, they celebrate it on a different day. Also, like the other monotheistic religions, Christians believe in an afterlife. It is believed that if you are faithful you will be rewarded by going to a better place.
