“Culture is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, defined by everything from language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts” (Zimmerman 1). Culture is how we live our lives and how we interact with others around us. In my culture, Haitian independence from the French was taken violently with weapons such as rocks. Special traditions, sports and food can tell a lot about my culture I am proud to be Haitian.
