Imagine not knowing the next choice you make will have your future depending on it. Just released from the hospital few days prior indicating you were in great health. You wake up the next few days at 6AM finding yourself rushing to the ER after coughing up blood and barely breathing. Then put into a coma with a fog of dreams that are never-ending. That was only the beginning of my struggles. I was immediately put on dialysis relying on life-support to keep me alive in the ICU. Almost a month later I woke up to the doctors telling me I have been diagnosed with Renal Kidney failure. I could’ve died if I didn’t rush myself to the ER that one morning, due to excessive fluid fulling up my lungs and heart. It was an unimaginable situation that doctors have never seen before.

I have goals to accomplish and dreams to achieve, so I asked myself what I could do to make the best out of it. I had to change my diet and was given a variety of medications during my road to recovery, which lead me to realize the value of medication. And how much people’s lives depend on it, that was one of the many reasons I continued to develop a strong passion for wanting to be a Pharmacist as my profession one day. I have experience as a pharmacy technician as well taking care of my grandfather growing up, but nothing was like my personal experience as a
