After completing the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, I received the personality type ISTJ. The ISTJ means introvert, sensing, thinking, and judging. Being an ISTJ is like being a job fulfiller. This personality type is thoughtful and very quiet, who is also interested in safety and peace. ISTJ people are responsible, and dependable, they are interested in supporting and promoting traditions and establishments as well. These kinds of people are very well organized and are hard-working. They will usually accomplish tasks once they have set their mind to it. The first letter of ISTJ is I. This means that I am an introvert. Introverts are quiet and shy. (Robbins, Judge, 2015, PG 124) They usually prefer a slower pace with their time for the completion of a project. These individuals always think things through inside their head before any task. Lastly introverts choose to observe rather than being the center of attention like extroverts. The second letter is S. The letter S means sensing. Sensing people think about reality of how things actually are. Sensing individuals are always practical and prefer their routine and order. Thinking types use reason and logic to handle problems. (Robbins, Judge, 2015, Pg.124) They value justice and fairness, they also enjoy finding flaws in an argument that is happening. Lastly these individuals could be described as reasonable and level-headed people. The last letter in ISTJ is J. Judging individuals always prefer to have matters settled. We think rules and deadlines should be respected. When doing a task, we want detailed step-by-step instructions to know everything that we will be doing.
