I want to be a kinder person, and I want to be able to talk to someone and see how they feel internally. I especially want to be able to think on a deeper level and be able to analyze someone’s ulterior motives for a decision. Learning these skills at this early age will strengthen my ability to argue in court, which will be especially helpful if I become a trial lawyer. I have a basic understanding of the structure of formal debate and proper court proceedings, and I am already decent at arguing. I want to improve these skills over the summer by writing four argumentative essays. As a person, I want to inspire others. I want to show people what they’re capable of, teaching them to put their negative attitudes aside.
However, to go to law school and be able to focus on my studies, I need to start putting money away. If I have to work often while studying, I won’t be as focused as I could be. I’ll do this by getting a job next summer, when I’m old enough to do so. I’ll set up a savings account and learn to invest.
