A social work professional has incredible responsibility concerning ethical standards, social justice, advocacy, and cultural awareness. The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) covers each of these topics in the NASW Code of Ethics, and through understanding the code, it is clear social workers are called to uphold the aforementioned ethical standards.
