I want to be a member of the National Honor Society because I am a diligent student that is very committed to academic success, service, and leadership which embody the core values held by the society. Academically, I strive to demonstrate a strong work ethic as well as dedication to my studies. I maintain a good GPA while also challenging myself with harder courses. Even when a class gets tough for me, I make sure I put in the extra effort needed to succeed. I think that being able to challenge yourself with courses that will not be easy for you is an important trait to have. I also prioritize taking classes that let me be creative and have fun, such as band and art. Beyond academics, I also have a strong presence in extracurricular activities.
