Hello, I am Kylie Pair and I am honored to have been chosen to apply for this program. The National Honor Society is an organization that recognizes outstanding high school kids for their ability to maintain good grades while still being able to balance their social life. I would describe myself as colorful, meaning a high-spirited person who is always willing to be themselves. I feel that I could be described as this because I am always willing to have a good time, never fail to make people smile, and I am not afraid to come out of my comfort zone. This is important because you will never know whose eyes are watching, little or big, or who wants to be just like you when you are older. I have been involved in several different clubs throughout school. In middle school, I had the honor of being in the National Junior Honor Society and competed in UIL throughout my middle school career, where I was awarded first place for Ready Writing and third place for Music Memory. Additionally, I was involved in volleyball, basketball, and track. Currently, I am on the Junior Varsity basketball team and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Being a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) requires leadership. Not only are you living in Christ’s footsteps, but you are also viewed as a role model throughout your community. I am the club's Event Planner officer, which is in charge of communicating thoroughly with the group in order to get everyone on board with my decisions.
