Question A1: There is so much racism and white nationalism as well as white supremacy in America during the those days in the late 19th century (please do not mistake these marks as there is a belief that bigotry, and all of its profound evils, did not exist before or after that period of time). The poem truly reflects white nationalism fundamentally the best practice and a demand for it to forever exist and that people of it should exert its power and authority over other countries that were non-white who requires it, regardless if they know it or not. The goal of imperialism is to conquer (strong word) a country through some type of manipulation that your political system is the acceptable and healthier practice for your people than what you are currently have. The idea of nation building is really an invasion without the tyranny of a battle or war. Wilson’s 14 points was designed from what he thought caused the fighting for War World I: the 14 points was designed to establish peace and maintain world order. The 14 points wanted to embody the Nations of the world where having a collective body would discuss ideas and establish solutions in the name of peace and harmony. The concept, or the practice of imperialism, was totally contrary to Wilson’s 14 points. On one hand, Wilson’s 14 points generated or promoted peace in the world and called for stoppage of colonial power and encouraged the independent of multiple counties in the European corridor of the world. And on the other hand, imperialism is not the practice of world peace, but it could lead to a fight or war. The designed or purpose of imperialism is to “take over” a country through diplomacy or military dominance under the name of nation
