The University of Arizona Indisputably, when it comes to human development it is evident that nurture plays a superior role. Nurture shows how the environmental factors are the origin of our behavior and shape the person we are brought up to be. A. Bandura’s social cognitive theory and L. Vygotsky’s sociocultural theory greatly support the stance on nurture by explaining how the environment plays a big role in early human development.
