A demonstration is performed for the audience and the committee, to convey the idea of our solution. Our solution is a web application with a very simple and neat layout, which is capable of storing an individual username and password with a name tag specifying for which service that username and password corresponds to. Furthermore, it also allows the user to update the password, given a scenario where the user updates there primary account information and want to update that information on our server. Lastly, it gives a feature to the user where they can monitor all of the stored passwords on our server by simply logging into it.
b. Emphasize on why we need cloud database.
Currently our application makes use of a temporary dedicated server (i.e. limited accessibility). It is a server system that refers to a physical storage unit, which can be located in any part of the world. Such servers have mechanical parts associated with them, and data from various web applications are stored there based on the cluster allocated to that application, usually entire server gets allocated. One of the main reason why we are looking forward to shift into cloud database, is due to the fact there is 0% chance of any hardware failure as cloud …show more content…
Such threat not only makes the sensitive data vulnerable to be accessed by unauthorized people, but it can also put our credibility onto risk. It is basically a process where a hacker uses a well-crafted SQL query to obtain a response from the database, and can then further exploit that communication protocol to access the data stored or alter it. Once a SQL injection is encountered, it can take excessive amount of time to get fixed, as the changes has to be implemented on the code level (Johari & Sharma, 2012,
