A BUSINESS SUPPORTING SYSTEM : it is a type of a system which uses the telecommunication to provide customer service . Be it emergency First Aid or Nearest Hospital Location…show more content… This system is going to serve as foundation for my other systems.
For example, using a proper transaction processing system, this medical clinic will be keeping and updating the records of all the previous patients so as to get the updated database of its clients. Also, a slight change in inventory department will affect the database of stocks as well as cash availability. Like in this clinic any event (coming of a new patient) will add to the database of the patient list. Also providing any medical prescription or drugs to that patient will affect change in the Stock availability area. Then further, payment done by that patient will modify the database of the Accounts department.
Thus occurrence of any event will directly or indirectly show its impact on all the systems involved in the business aspects of the clinic. This is what the Transaction Processing System consists
