You must complete a nurse practitioner focused graduate masters, or a doctoral nursing program. Finally, you have to take the National Nurse Practitioner Board Certification Exam. Once you complete this, you have all the qualifications to become a nurse practitioner. In high school, to prepare for being a nurse practitioner, you must focus on science like biology. Some skills that are needed to be a nurse practitioner are teamwork, professionalism, conflict resolution, and compassion. You need teamwork because as a nurse practitioner, you work with other people. You need professionalism because as a nurse practitioner you diagnose people and must keep your composure when you tell people things that may be detrimental to their health. You need conflict resolution to relax those who get mad at you. You also need compassion so you can give your full attention to your work. The average salary for this job is $126,000. For an entry level position, or a below average salary for this job would be around $106,600. For an upper level position, or an above average salary would be
