Some skills that are needed to be a nurse practitioner are teamwork, professionalism, conflict resolution, and compassion. You need teamwork because as a nurse practitioner, you work with other people. You need professionalism because as a nurse practitioner you diagnose people and must keep your composure when you tell people things that may be detrimental to their health.
