The core definition of Human Resource Management deals with how to manage people or employees in the organisation. It is responsible for the attraction, selection, training, assessment, and rewarding of employees, while complying with employment and labor laws. (Hassan Mohamed Elarabi 2014).
Task 1.1 Explain the factors that need to be considered when planning the recruitment of individuals to work at London Nursing Home.

Recruitment is defined as a process whereby a job vacancy is identified and advertised for a company to build its employee base. When a company aims to recruit individuals, there are three different processes which need to be followed for the ideal candidates to respond. Preselection, selection and Post selection forms a part of the recruitment process. Advertising, job description and person specification comes under preselection.

The advertisement illustrates what the job vacancy is and where; the job description outlines the roles and responsibilities of the successful candidate and the person specification outlines the ideal skills and qualities that the candidate will possess for them to be successful in the role.
