BSN TO MSN specialty gave more insight to her job description and experiences in nursing profession. Looking at question #1, the BSN-MSN has had opportunity to give care to patient with various diseases unlike the BSN. In question # 2, both specialties answered in the same manner, which plains that explains that nursing profession play a major role in patient advocate.
In question # 3 BSN TO MSN, had more concern about the patient, but the BSN included families post hospital care in the care plan. This inclusion is very crucial because if family is involved in patient care, it will help to prevent readmission, prevent complications, and have control over their health. On the other hand, the MSN fail to address what happens when the patient leaves the hospital. Question # 4 based on their answer, evidence based practice has brought about effective, efficient quality care and improved patient outcome.
Again in question # 5, MSN focus is still on the patient, and the BSN considers the patient and the family. I see a problem with this. Readmission could be as a result of patient not being taking care of while at home probably because they were not included in the patient care plan, or no teaching giving on how to take care of patient at home.
