I have made a leaflet for this question which will be titled Unit 2, 2.1.
2.2 Describe the actions to take when children or young people are ill or injured.
A copy of our settings procedure is attached as a separate document.

2.3 Identify circumstances when children or young people might require urgent medical attention.
Urgent medical attention should be sought if children suffer form any of the following:
• Head injuries
• Difficulty breathing
• Possible broken bones or fractures
• Seizures
• Loss of consciousness
• Uncontrollable or heavy bleeding

2.4 Describe the actions to take in response to emergency situations including: Fires, security incidents and missing children or young people.

Security Incidents
Potential security incidents could include; a child who has ran away from the school, or an intruder. We have different procedures in place to ensure the safety of all children and staff at all times.
In our school all staff wear identification that includes their name and a photograph. All volunteers and visitors must sign in and out in the main entrance and must wear a badge, so they are identifiable. They must also be buzzed through the reception door to gain entry to the main part of the school. The gates to the school grounds are kept locked during the day between when the children arrive and when the parents come to pick them up. All visitors during the school day have to buzz in to the office to be allowed on school grounds.
