Heroes are usually strong brave people, heroes in movies usually have super powers meaning they can do things that we can’t, things that are impossible. Heroes save lives they are given those powers to protect us from” super villains”. In The Odysseus by Homer, Odyssey faces life threatening obstacles and situations he must overcome to return back to Ithaca and take control over his kingdom. Odysseus is an archetypal hero he appears in mythologies and epics of the world all heroes share these characteristics.
