(The Right Way) There is a certain way the dishes need to be washed, and a certain way the dishwasher needs to be loaded, or at least my dishwasher, in order to get squeaky clean dishes every time. I have a process and over time I have been able to get a full load of dishes in the dishwasher, as well as hand wash any other dishes, in about half an hour. I’ve cut my time down in half. It begins by putting the sink plug in the left side of the sink, and putting all cutlery in it. I then fill it up with the hottest temperature of water, and squirt dish soap while it is filling. While this is happening, I am rinsing and loading the cups on the top rack of my dishwasher. By the time I am done this, the left side of the sink is done filling up, so I can turn the tap off. Next comes the plates and bowls. In the front portion of the bottom rack, small plates and bowls are loaded, but before that they must be rinsed. I load the bowls first, and then the plates after that. Next comes the large plates which go to the back portion of the rack, once again they must be rinsed before doing so. After that is done, we move on to the cutting boards, they get rinsed and then placed behind the small and large plates on the left side of the dish rack. Finally, the cutlery is done being soaked.
