A. Online marketing refers to the marketing and promotion of your product and service over the internet. Everyone seems to be attracted by online marketing. The internet may be a powerful tool to put your business on a sound footing with other companies.
B. Some of the methods of online marketing are: Pay-per-Click advertising, E-Mail news letters, Online direct selling, Online public relations, Affiliate marketing and Social Media Platforms.

A. Your business is available to customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customers world wide can shop anytime they want. There is no need to rent physical premises around the world to market your product.
B. The advertising cost is minimal as well as updating customers about your products is done efficiently and cheaply. Your business can reach out to global consumer bas, not a local or national. Online marketing is fast and easy, it enables you to reach your target audience much faster through search engines, only interested customers are led to your website just by clicking a mouse.

A. There are not many disadvantages, you could get caught up in illegal or unethical online promotions. Using Pay-Per Click advertising can be costly, and if you are inexperienced in this area you will lose money rather than realizing a profit. E-mail Marketing, there is no guarantee that your email message will actually be read by your subscriber.
B. Social Media having used word of mouth advertising, could damage your company’s image, product or brand. Views or traffic generated from these platforms isn’t always targeted. Search Engines, you are never guaranteed to get the top rankings and could be investing a large amount of money to attempt to increase your rankings.
