Serria immediately began to display her ability to be not only a leader, but also a mentor and teacher to fellow cohort members. Subsequently, she was appointed as an official mentor for the cohort trainees that followed her. Her mentees have been exceedingly pleased with the level of dedication and support they receive and their confidence in presenting information bureau wide has increased. She is passionate about helping her colleagues grow as employees and is always open and sharing her expertise. She is always facilitating open discussions and helping mentees make connections between their work and real life applications to ensure they see how essential the work is that they do. We collaborated on several projects locally and across the country. She has always been present and supportive. Together, we gathered information used by executive leadership to steer an ongoing agency program. With her guidance, I was confident in carrying out that large task as a representative of the BTO office.
