Paraphilic disorders are intense and recurrent fantasies of sexual desires, distressing or disabling sexual drives or behaviors that involve inanimate objects, children or adults without consent, or the suffering or humiliation of oneself or of the couple likely to cause harm.

Paraphilias involve sexual arousal to atypical objects, situations, and /or recipients (Ex, children, corpses, animals). However, it is important to remember, that some sexual practices that seem unusual to other people or to some healthcare practitioners do not constitute a paraphilia disorder simply because they are unusual. Flowing I will mention the 8 paraphilic disorders listed in the chapter.
