Paris Attacks
There have been many planned terrorists attacks since the 911 attacks. Before 911 people weren’t concerned to go on a plane, or go to a special event. The Sandy Hook massacre was not a terrorist attack, but was a mass shooting. There have been hundreds of mass shooting since Sandy Hook, and it’s almost a monthly news report. There have been many attacks on the world, but the most recent is the Paris attacks.
It was a typical night in Paris France on Friday November the 13th. There were many events taking place on this typical Friday night. 79,000 fans gathered at a soccer stadium. Soccer is a popular sport in Europe, and that night France and Germany were competing. At 9:20 PM a bomb had exploded outside of the professional soccer stadium in Paris. The restaurants that were attacked were Le carillon and Le Pepit Cambodge. 9:32 PM More gunmen shoot at people outside of the terrorized stadium. A black vehicle pulled up outside of a restaurant at 9:36 PM, and gunmen open fired from outside killing 19 people. Many people suffered serious injuries during these first few events.
The first 19 minutes of the attacks were brutal, but the most horrific attack occurred at 9:40 PM at a concert. Three attackers open fired during a concert and killed 89 people. This attack had the largest impact. ISIS has claimed to be responsible for the attack on Paris. There were 8 terrorists that did this horrific attack on Paris. The Paris attacks killed 129 people, and there were 352 injuries. 99 of those injuries were serious. There were 3 teams of terrorists that coordinated 6 locations to attack. The teams each focused on a specific location. The locations were restaurants, concert hall, or the soccer
