“Somewhere inside, we hear a voice. It leads us in the direction of the person we wish to become Pat Tillman had many wonderful qualities but one quality I see he carries the most is being determined. Pat Tillman was known for his determination. While he played for the Arizona Cardinals he took football seriously. Pat put so much effort and passion into football, he practice well and played well in games. His way of thinking in football really showed his character and showed what kind of guy he is.
Pat was considered “Small” for his height, but even though he had been told that he was determined to do it and push himself to become better at football. In the video it was shown how big the guys were compared to Pat, though they were taller then him, Pat had a lot of tackles, did great plays, and ran pretty fast. When Pat began playing for the Arizona Cardinals they began improving, The Cardinals hadn’t won a game in about 50 years. Pat Tillman help them win again. …show more content…
His coach had said he had a plan and when he had a plan he had a purpose. In the text Pat was speaking to his coach saying “Coach, you can play me or not play me”, “But I'm only going to be here four years. And then I’ve got things to do with my life” he was willing to finish what he was planned. Pat shut down and football career to go to the army. His friends didn’t understand and neither did his family, even though they tried convincing him. Pat Tillman was determined to stick with his army planned. In one of his interview Pat had said “There’s a lot of opportunity out there in this country, and I’m going to reach for the sky..I want to be a billionaire eventually and do whatever I want.
