I think reading is important because it helps me expand my knowledge, and helps me think about things I never thought of. Many book series such as Percy Jackson made me think about some things I never thought I would. In Percy Jackson, I thought about the harsh world of the greek gods, and how they fought against each other in fury. Another one of the author of Percy Jackson’s books, Magnus Chase made me more interested and educated about Norse mythology. In historical fiction books, I am informed of historical events. In Early Sunday Morning, I was informed of the Pearl Harbor Bombing disaster and how the residents of the city in Hawaii felt when they got bombed. The reader imagines what is going on in the book, and always tries to understand what the author is saying. I am a good reader because I always read a book in depth, GEU project or not. When I come across a page that I don’t understand, I always try to understand the page.

My reading goals for the future is to read more books each month, precisely three or five. When I reach my goal, I will try to continue reading more intriguing books. I plan to finish the Harry Potter series next year, and also plan to finish any of Rick Riordan’s books. These books will increase my vocabulary, as they use some complex words. This may also improve my writing, as I might try to write the same as the author’s style, and might get me a better grade in
