Persian Empire Research Paper

As many years passed since the Greco-Persian wars, the once all-powerful Persian Empire slowly falls apart due to conspiracies, political problems, economic issues, and lack of new advancements. With being defeated by the Greeks, the Empire begins to fall apart after losing so much. Soon after, the people the Empire ruled over began to go against their rule due to the heavy taxes put on the people as well. With the events occurring inside the Empire, the kingdom would maybe last for about a century before falling apart.

This supports how economic problems played a big role in the fall of the Empire because it’s giving details on what parts of the economy fell apart. The parts included in this evidence included the kings growing weak of power; growing food began to wither apart due to people not being able to afford making more crops or simply not being able to buy more food.
Another major reason the Empire fell apart was because of political issues that caused the Persian Empire to split apart on the inside. With weak rulers losing power over the people they ruled, many of the kings loyal subjects began to take over different parts of the land the Empire had rule over. The so-called loyal subjects would be considered as kings that ruled different parts of the Empire, which would of course lead to war against each other making it worse for Persia. And with the rulers waging war against each other, there seemed to be no control over the people who started rebellions against the kings of Persia. This helps support how political issues were another huge part of the downfall of the Persian Empire since it really gives more details about what played out first with politics. It describes nobles of the Empire taking rule over different parts of Persia and causing conflict against the actual kings of Persia which weakened their power even more. This piece also describes the revolts people had against all the parts of Persian, destroying the rule over Persia.
The next big reason as to how the Persian Empire fell apart was because of scientific reasons. What this meant is that the Persian Empire was never able to really make any new advancements which would lead to their trade with other areas to fall apart. With them having really no advancements, their production for new tools, weapons, and other supplies to fall apart. With their weapon production falling apart, they would then lose many battles against enemies with more advanced weaponry and artillery.
