Personal Narrative: A Career As A Basketball Coach

During my eighth grade year of middle school I played basketball but when I moved to the High School back in 2014 I got cut from the team. The coach told me he didn't see the passion in me that I had back in middle school. The next day came around and the dreaded offseason came, hated every minute of it, I was gonna have my schedule changed and get out of athletics all together. Dr.Brown called me into his office the day before Mrs.Madison was going to change my schedule and asked me if I ever thought about being a manager for the basketball team,so at least I would be still part of the team. I agreed and have loved it ever since. Junior year comes around and since I had a reputation of being one of the best managers that Coach Best ever had, the Head Football and Athletic Director called me into his office. He was in need of a manger due to his leaving that same year. I agreed and told him if I started getting bored that I would go back to basketball.
