Personal Narrative: A Career In Early Childhood Education

When trying to decide on what occupation or career that I want to pursue education has always been an option. I have known that I have wanted to work with kids especially early childhood education. When picking one I knew since a very young age that I have worked very well with kids and have an immediate connection with them. And, I enjoy to watch how they interact with other kids and adults. I enjoy how corky and weird they are because they don’t really care what anybody thinks because they are still developing. My decision for when I got to college I am going into early childhood education. When looking and doing some research many factors come into play. The outlook at the salary are two major keys in this career. The outlook employment of teachers is projected to grow 7 percent from 2014 to 2024, about as fast as the average for all occupations. The number of preschool-aged children is expected to increase; however, their share of the overall population should remain constant.

They are fun and spunky and full of energy. But even though they are fun and spunky comes discipline and handling them in the right way. And when developing their skills you need to make sure that they do it the correct way. And in teaching them having easy steps to follow, and making sure that they are connecting with it. This helps them understand and makes them retain the information. Also, having a set routine helps them because setting it helps them relax and they don’t have to overthink. This for some kids very frustrating because they need a very organized and simple plan. They need
