That’s the last of it.
Billy grabbed it out of my hand and split it in half. “Here sarah we can share the last together.” I gave a weak smile.
“Sarah, when will we be found?” Billy stared out in the rusty morning sky. We’ve been in the streets for about five days now. “Daddy and Mommy is probably worrying about us,” Billy asked with a sorrowful face. I clutch my burger almost choking on the piece.
“They’re not,” I croaked. Not feeling hungry anymore, I put the burger away.
“Why?” Billy questioned, tilting his head to look at me.

He cried until the lamppost next to us blinked a couple times before it turns off. Billy fell asleep after he cried. I looked at him and saw how dirty we were and smelly too.
I slowly closed my eyes getting sleepy too.
I saw wonderful memories of my parents, and questioned my dream in why Billy wasn’t there. Finally I saw my mother with a huge belly. Is this an old picture I’m looking at? In my own dream I saw myself ran toward the tummy and hugged it.
Pregnant? Pregnant! I woke up from my dream gasping in sweat. I was an only child. Was I? Realizing that I’m in the real world, I looked at my side as where Billy was supposed to be. Gone. Panicking I whipped my head around trying to find Billy. Now my brain hurt as I scream knowing what I locked away.
Mom was pregnant to a baby who was going to be named Billy. But on the way home from shopping, she got caught up in a incident and died. Later remembering the terrifying moment where I found father hanging from the fan.
He committed suicide.
He only left me with a note saying how much he can’t live without mom. I ran from my house to a narrow street where I met Billy.
I created
