The expectations that I had for my teachers was that the classes were going to be easy because of how they explained what we do. But then, as the year started, I could see that some of them were going to be hard. For example, our first Pearson assignment in Social Studies was 9 texts long. One of the expectations I had for myself was that I was going to be really organized. In real life though, I forgot about some assignments until the night before it was due and I had to do it at 10:00 o’clock that night. To be honest, I thought that my new math teacher was a guy. When I walked in on the first day we had a substitute and I asked him where our teacher was and he said that Ms. Barnard is not here …show more content…
My goals for freshman year are to make the volleyball basketball, and softball team. I also want to get all A’s and become friends with the upperclassmen, since I already know a lot of the soon to be seniors, juniors, and sophomores. I also want to strengthen my relationships with my friends that I have now. I will achieve these by putting my best foot forward and just being me. I will lean on my coaches, friends, and family to help me achieve all of these goals. I will track my progress throughout the year and rather than demanding perfection from myself right away, I will “gather together a series of past quizzes or tests, review your grades and set a goal to achieve a higher score on the next three”
