I have given my time, effort, love and support to the band. I have been blessed to be apart of the band for three years, this year is going to be my fourth year of band. I have enjoyed these years of band. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I have pushed myself every year to be a better performer than I was the year before.
I have gain patience from being in the band. Through stressful times, I kept my cool. I have gain new friends from being in the band. I have matured a lot personally and musically. I’m more tolerant of everything. I’m more comfortable with playing in front of other people.
Helping players feel more comfortable with their own playing is key to having a great marching/concert season. Maturity is a goal that I’ve always set
