Central Idea: Not drinking enough water is a common health mistake made by many Americans, and I want to strongly encourage you to resolve this important issue by making sure to drink enough water every day.

According to WedMd website, “Dehydration is a condition that occurs when the loss of body fluids, mostly water, exceeds the amount that is taken in.” i. Our body uses water to complete various functions such as regulating body temperature and supplying our body with energy. ii. If we do not replace the water that our body uses through drinking plenty of water, we would suffer many malfunctions throughout our body. 2. According to an article in Medical Daily published in April 2015 by Lizette Borreli, dehydration can cause several additional problems including fatigue, high blood pressure, allergies, skin disorders, high cholesterol, digestive disorders, kidney problems, constipation, joint stiffness, weight gain, and premature aging. C. During this extremely hot summer, it is very easy to forget or simply fail to properly keep yourself hydrated. 1. If you are not careful and become dehydrated, you could, like me, pass out or may even suffer from any of the perviously discussed illnesses.

II. Although it may seem obvious, the solution to improper water intake is
