The pro-life tend to bring up religion into the abortion debate. In the United States, freedom of religion includes the protection from and protection of religion, meaning a person’s religious belief has no authority over another individual’s actions. Pro- choice people believe a human life has way more value than a fetus. In some cases, women abort because they are not financially stable to care for their unborn child. According to Odyssey, unintended pregnancy rates among women below the poverty level are five times greater than women at a high income level. Both the pro-life movement and pro-choice movement come to conflict because one believes that all lives should matter, born and unborn, while the other believes that every individual has the right to do whatever to their bodies, but both movements both agree on one thing and that is to reduce the amount of abortions in this country.
In conclusion, abortions should not be legal in the United States because it is murder, cruel, and unethical. The unborn baby has to go through excruciating pain because of the choice of the mother. That baby could have been something great in this world but will never see the light of day or experience anything good. The next time a woman thinks she needs an abortion, she should consider the baby and not just
