As it might come as a surprise, deer are the most dangerous mammal in our nation. Statistics show that deer are killing more people than animals with the issue of being overpopulated, disease and on-road collisions.
One result is ticks and Lyme disease, but deer also kill people more directly. A study for the insurance industry estimated that deer kill about 150 people a year in car crashes nationwide and cause $1 billion in damage. With this being said, you are more likely to die from a car crash caused by a deer than a terrorist attack.

This seemed like a good idea to some individuals since you can’t hunt in a residential suburb area, you don’t want to put human lives at risk or being shot and some see the idea of hunting as being brutal and vaguely psychopathic. But on the down side, deer contraception hasn't been very successful and people tend to have different beliefs about the use of birth control.
