Repeal the Helms Amendment: The Helms Amendment prohibits the use of U.S. foreign assistance funds for abortion services, thereby limiting access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare and perpetuating health inequities (American Civil Liberties Union, 2023). Repealing this amendment would enable the use of U.S. foreign assistance funds for safe abortion services, ensuring that individuals have access to the medical care they need in a safe and supportive environment. 2. What is the difference between a'smart' and a'smart'? Provide Funding and Support for Comprehensive Reproductive Health Care Programs: Comprehensive reproductive health care programs play a crucial role in ensuring that individuals have access to a wide range of reproductive health services, including safe abortion services (Guttmacher Institute, 2020). By providing funding and support for these programs, we can ensure that individuals receive the care they need to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. 3. What is the difference between a'smart' and a'smart'? Advocate for a U.S. Foreign Policy that Prioritizes Gender Equality and Reproductive Rights: Gender equality and reproductive rights are fundamental human rights that should be prioritized in U.S. foreign policy (United Nations Population Fund [UNFPA], 2021).
