I was convinced I forgot something on my application that would compromise my chance of attending Middle College High School, but that was just me overthinking. While all my friends attended schools like Cesar Chavez and SECA, I attended a school in a completely different district from them. In an attempt to console myself, I tried convincing myself that it wasn't a big deal and that high school was about getting an education. However, as I was meet with a group of unfamiliar students, reality sunk in. I realized I wished my old friends were here so I wouldn't feel awkward about the new environment I was in. However, now that I have meet new friends, school has become increasingly tolerable. Regardless, one thing that probably won’t change is how clueless I am about the campus. I opted to simply follow the people I know are in my class. Since it is only the beginning of the school year, i'm nervous for the work load we will receive eventually.
