Mold is a type of microscopic organism or fungi that grows inside damp environments as well as there are about 200,000 types, nearly all of which are not dangerous. They flourish on soil, air, and just about everywhere, as long as there is wetness, oxygen, and some organic material. Certain kinds of molds are found inside soil, plants, and even crops like corn and wheat. It likes damp and shaded places and can be found indoors.
For molds to stay alive, they thrive on 4 factors: mold spores that are inside the air and easily inhaled by people, food (molds like carbon based organic material for them to feed on), temperature (molds like the same temperature people do), and lastly, moisture (molds enjoy humidity).
If there are safe kinds of mold, there are also risky kinds that can cause severe health problems. An instance of this kind of mold is known as Poisonous Mold or Black Mold, which sends unsafe spores called Mycotoxins into the environment making it harmful for humans. These Mycotoxins interfere with our cell and DNA function resulting in severe health problems. A number of of these hazardous molds are identified as Stachybotrys Mold or Black Mold, Penicillum, and Aspergillus. These types of mold have been known to cause illnesses such as skin rashes, memory troubles, respiratory illness, and even brain damage.

They can hide in places such as behind walls in air ducts, below carpets, and other hidden places. Hidden mold is more hazardous because it can spread without you knowing. Look for repetitive signs of nasal blockage and clearing of throat because they are common indications of spores within your house. In addition, ensure behind walls, beneath cabinets, as well as below carpeting as well as air ducts. Water damaged carpets are susceptible to mold growth as well as under bathroom and kitchen cabinets. Looking into a portion of a wall cavity can also show signs of mold
