Polar bears are beautiful, eye catching species but they are also one of the most dangerous species alive that is if you are near one. Polar bears are the most carnivorous of the bear species, they are tertiary consumers meaning they eat other secondary and primary consumers. Polar bears are marine mammals and are mostly located near areas of water and ice floes in Arctic Tundra. Polar bears feed mostly on the fat of ice-dependent seals which are ringed or bearded seals, the remains of these seals provide food for other species in the Arctic giving polar bears a role in their ecosystem. Polar bears adapt a coat of white fur and a layer of black skin(fat) under it all. The white fur helps them blend in with the ice and snow to keep predators
