I am a future elector and a student in Churchlands Senior High School studying in Year 9I am currently concerned about the laws and restriction for the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes and asking for a response regarding this topic.
As the minister of Drug and Alcohol for WA I would like you to reconsider the restrictions for medicinal cannabis as it will help ‘in need’ patients with rare problems.
Medicinal Marijuana will help cancer patients significantly since they go through chemotherapy (the treatment of disease by the use of chemical substances). Chemotherapy has many side effects such as little or no appetite, nausea, vomiting and many more. When cannabis leaves are smoked by cancer patients, the effects of poor appetite and nausea are dropped dramatically. Not only does give them a healthier lifestyle but a longer life expectancy as well. People affected by severe depression may use this
