In the Pope Francis Speech, Pope Francis is presenting his plan for the United States Congress and the American people to better their individual lives and lives as a whole. However, many controversial topics are included in this speech. Religion, Refugees entering the United States, and the abolition of the death penalty are three of controversial topics. The Pope does however explain what needs to be done in order for the United States to prosper from all of these social problems.

In order to be thriving and prosperous, we need positive outlooks on everything rather than negative outlooks. All the violence around the United States within its own people blocks the real issues that we need to worry about today.

The United States needs to worry about itself before it worries about anyone
