The Wave novel was based on a real story that was a classroom experiment that went too far.The two positive effects of The Wave by Todd Strasser is everyone is equal and on time. The two negative effects are kids skipping classes and power is making them crazy. The first positive effect is on time.They leave their class before History and hurry over to Mr.Ross’s room. When they get into the classroom they sit quietly and sit straight up.They wait very patiently.When Mr. Ross finally enters he is shocked to see that they are all sitting quietly and ready to do The Wave. “Is this a joke?” said Ben Ross ( Strasser,41).
