Crime ranks high among the effects of poverty. The cycles of poverty are the lifelong issues and troubles that are passed on from one generation to the next. (Cawthorne) There isn’t a link between the effects of poverty and the environment. Most of the time when you see poor children they are on the streets, television, or in photographs. Although, the waste and dump sites that children are photographed in are extremely toxic to the poor. The poor have a much shorter lifespan than the rich.(Tavernise) It’s common for the rich to blame the poor for most of the world problems. This is what drives the poor to join terrorist organizations; along with the promise of food, clothing, and shelter.
