There are quite few people who use services that may not feel confident enough in expressing their thoughts and feelings, this called provision of active support. In this way, in order them to develop their confidence as a worker it’s your responsibility to help them through using appropriate communication skills that can encourage service users to express their thoughts and feelings and you should use an active listening skills in this communication.
Effective communication is also an important thing in working in health and social care setting to ensure that service users are treated respectfully and have their own individual needs and rights met. If an employee didn’t communicate effectively especially to the service users and there are barriers of communication it can lead to a result that that the service users have a bad experience working to the employee. That’s why in this sense the barriers of communication can be use in communicating to the service users effectively.
In health and social care setting views and preferences are also important, especially to the professional who work to this setting they should always shape their practice by considering the views and preferences of people who use the service (service users). This kind of setting many of individuals
