Hammons Rhodes State College BHS1160: Medical Law-Ethics Healthcare Professor Dawn Bell March 22, 2024 Abortion 2 Abstract This paper examines the controversial topic of abortion, which is purposely terminating a pregnancy. It covers people who are pro-life and pro-choice, what these terms really mean, and the differences between them. It also provides information on how the topic can be a lot more complicated than just picking a topic. There are people who believe that abortion should not be legal, and people who believe women should have the right to choose what happens with their bodies. We will cover valid arguments from each side and also learn about people who are not fully on one …show more content…
I previously knew little about abortion, but still had an opinion on it. After learning about the different sides, their deeper meanings, and why each side feels the way they do, I can say that I still have the same opinion on the topic. Like many people, I fall somewhere in the middle. For the most part, I am pro-life, however, there are very few circumstances where I believe abortion should be allowed. I think that it is a very interesting topic to research, and that it will continue to be a heavily controversial topic for many years to come.
