There are several companies nationwide that have had the same issues that JetBlue had, and some have ended up closing their doors as well. The problems that JetBlue experienced are totally at the hands of poor management, the management had complete control of the company from the training of the employees to the technology that was implemented within the company. There have been and will continue to be companies that cripple their company before they ever even get on their feet by cutting costs and not using the technology at their fingertips. There is a saying that the management team at JetBlue should have heard, and I am sure there are many other companies that need to hear it , the statement is “you will never get a second chance to make a first impression.” Because of the decisions that were made by the management teams at JetBlue, most customers will by pass them as a provider of airline services. I know that with everything that I read that happened after the crisis of the bad weather and the way the management team handled the customer care during this time I would not use them. I think that there are so many things that JetBlue could hand done and even should have done for their customers during this major storm. The first would have been the obvious of not having them on the runway hoping to “wait” the storm out. The next would have been to offer the customers a discount or even a free one way
