The increase of minimum wage is a questionable subject among many. The increase has many pros and cons, both reasonably understandable. But, the cons have more impact on the consumer world than the pros. Increasing minimum wage would put a strain on companies. It would also cause an intense competition in the job world. And, if prices paid to workers went up the price of the goods they work to produce would also go up. Overall, increasing minimum wage is not a good idea.
First of all, if minimum wage were to go up to even fifteen dollars an hour companies would have to make a lot of changes to keep up with the pay. It is almost not even worth it to pay someone fifteen an hour to do a simple task such as flip burgers or stock shelves. Companies
