I had the league record and I won every meet except one, which was KU relays. My senior year, I jumped ten feet, and six inches. Which gave me the honor to stand on the podium at the Kansas state track meet with a Gold medal in my hand. This medal didn’t just mean the world to me, but also the people who believed in me. It got points for my teammates, and I represented my High school the best I could, by winning a state title in the Pole vault. Now, I volunteer and coach with my club track team to give back to the loving and caring people who supported me throughout my career as an athlete.
